This is real

I started this blog to give my readers, and clients a glimpse into the hard working field of wedding photography. You will get to bask in victories with me, as well as learn lessons when mistakes are made. So far, it has gone smoothly...relatively speaking.

This is a new business. What do they say about new business's? It takes 2 years to get "busy." Honestly, I do not have 2 years to wait. My wife is pregnant, and out baby is coming in 5 months. I (cringly) promised my wife that she wouldn't have to go back to work after the baby was born, and I still plan on sticking to that promise.

Business right now...is slow. I have 6 weddings booked, not to bad for only being open a few months, but we need more!

Ads placed in Craigslist, website receiving a lot of hits, but no takers.

At times I do wish that I had a 40 hr work week job. You are guaranteed a paycheck. Not with running your own business. Not sure from one day to the next if you'll be able to pay the cell phone bill.

This blog is "real" folks.
