Power of Positive Thinking

My mother was crying, and I was pretty upset too. I was 21 years old, getting on a bus to head 1000 miles away to start over somewhere else.

I was leaving everything that I knew and loved in TX. I needed the change though. With 5 days of clothes, and $100 cash, I made it.

No family, no friends, not even a pen-pal!

Before I left, my mother gave me a book to read, to make the 23hr bus ride a little smoother.

This book changed my life.

He wrote this book, "The Power of Positive Thinking."

That book is the reason I am here today.

I sit here today...typing on a $135 keyboard, clicking with a $75 mouse, staring at a 20" LCD, looking over and smiling at the over 10 grand invested in photography equipment.

Then I think back 4 years ago, to the day I got off the bus, in the rain, with a bag full of clothes.

The mind is an extremely powerful tool when put to good use. I tell everyone, all the time, that you can do anything you want to.

I really thing that 98% of the time it goes in one ear, and out the other. If people would just realize, that you CAN do anything you want to. Just focus on the one thing, and go after it.

I have had so many people ask me, "How did you book 9 weddings in your first 90 days?"

A LOT, and I mean A LOT of thinking...so much to the point to where your head feels like its going to explode. Thats pretty much it. I mean, I placed some ads on Craigslist, however most of it was just plain thinking, and saying to myself, "this will happen...this will happen."

Come to think of it, I'm going to pick this book up and read it again. It could serve me really good right now!
