Sarah and Arthur

Lately I have been wanting to push the boundaries, and explore new ways of doing things. I have been wanting to do a night shoot for a while now, and have been waiting for the perfect couple.

Enter Sarah and Arthur.

Last night, we all went to dinner and had a few drinks. Afterwards, the shoot was on! All photos were shot using available light ONLY. No flash whatsoever. I had my flashes with me, however I wanted a challenge.
Boy did I get it!

ISO 1600, f/2.8, and 1/10th of a second was my playing field. Not to mention lights of all different colors! It was so much fun, and I am really happy with the results! During the shoot, people were actually getting mad at me. Why? All they see is some guy with a big camera taking shots of this couple. My wife even had to tell some people...umm.....that couple hired him...and its called an "engagement shoot."

Man...people act like they have never seen a photographer shooting a couple at night!

Anyhow, I gotta run, but here are some of my favs from last night!

Thank you so much for the excellent job you have done with our photos!!! You were alot of fun to work with, and your wife is amazing!! We totally made the right choice when we called Haskins Photography!!
