Sky of Fire

Well not really fire, but smoke...and a lot of it. I woke up yesterday morning to the smell of smoke. At first I though that a house in the neighborhood was on fire, but as I walked out into the street, I noticed that it was every where. I hopped on the puter to find out what was going on.

This was 10 AM...and that little orange dot is the sun!



Brush fires have been burning everywhere here in Florida, due to the lack of rain. As of now, there are at least 240 fires, burning over 50,000 acres! Combined with the wildfires to the North of us in Georgia, it made for a difficult day for people with respiratory problems!

I knew that because of all the smoke, the sunset was going to be unforgettable!

Because I am only shooting 1-2 weddings a month, I tend to have a lot of time to shoot random things. I am always searching for some different to do, or another technique that I can tweak to fit.

My all time favorite spot is the beach. I have lived next to the coast my whole life, and I cant imaging life without the beach!



P.S Brandi's belly is getting bigger! 4 months till the baby comes!
