Smile!
I have to say that the experience was quite different than I had expected. I have a hard time trying to explain things to even my friends. My wife used to tell me, "Just explain it, and if they don't understand, they will ask questions."
She used to tell me this when I ran a computer business a while back. Trying to explain what a Gigabyte and Megabyte were...it was like another language to people.
Its somewhat different now. I am doing something that I absolutely love, and to be able to show someone how to do that...its rewarding.
I have always, and will forever be that person who loves helping people. The gratification thats received from someone else, as a direct result of something you did for them is the most rewarding experience that I know of (until our baby comes...and this STILL may be more rewarding!).
This is the main reason why I became a wedding photographer in the first place, and is the driving force behind why I decided to teach.
We all had fun, and got along just great. I do tend to be that people person, so that helps...not to mention that my assistant was there, so that helped as well.
Today will be part 2. An actual field trip to a local park. Its much easier for me to show people "how" to take photos, when they're taking photos!
Check back tomorrow for the results!
