Brandi's Belly
Its really weird for me, but I imagine that its REALLY frikking weird for her. I mean, to have this living thing in your belly! Ahhh! I'd be going crazy if it were me!
Trying to get things straightened out around her for when Max comes in September. Its pretty sad really. We have 2 extra bedrooms in our house, and we dont even use them. They are for..well....what else?
Junk!
I would share a picture, but that would probably upset my wife. She reads this blog by now. It would probably upset my parent too...hell, they even read the blog now!
Anyhow, last night I wanted to play with some lighting effects, so I figured Max (Brandi's Belly) would make a good subject. I wanted to jump in, so I just set the self timer! Yaay! I love this photo!
Technical Stuff:
580EX upper camera left, at 45 degree pointed down. 1/4 power, zoomed to 105 mm.
430EX camera bottom, on floor, pointed up towards 48x60 white reflector. Full power, zoomed to 105mm to "blow out" the background.
6" Gobo added to right side of flash on floor to prevent spill.

I also wanted to make a special announcement....I just saved a lot of money by.....just kidding. Peep this yo...
Simply put, people are spending A LOT of money on their pets. Then I started to think....I do have a decade of experience in the veterinary field, I am a photographer...so why not shoot pets...lol.
I have decided to take on pet photography, while not shooting weddings. I know, I know...pet portraits....but wait...these are different!
What did you think? I was going to do it like everyone else? Hell no! The shoot is treated like a wedding, all the way down to the custom designed album! You can check out the site here.

I also have a really kick ass blog to deal with the pet side of the business. Along with being updated after every shoot, there will be LOADS of information on pet health!
