Florida Strobist Meet - Highlights
What can I say?
Such an amazing group of people.
Sunday was the 1st Annual Florida Strobist Meet at Highlands Hammock State Park. Out of the 34 photographers scheduled to come, 28 actually made it. Very cool.
A big thanks to everyone that came out. A very big thanks to Denise for stepping up and modeling. This girl came just to pretty much hang out, as her sister is a photographer and she helps her often. Little did we know, this girl is a model in disguise. Although she had no idea what to do at first, 10 minutes into the sessions she was hammin it up for the camera. She has this stunningly natural look about her, and she is just super cool to be around.
A huuuuuge thanks to Mike and Tiffany. Holy crappity guys! Just to let you know, I smelt like that nasty mud. I can only imagine what cracks and crevices you guys were diggin it out of.
Im just super excited, and blessed to have met such a great group of people.....and some really talented photographers. This whole thing was made possible because of David Hobby, and that blog......whats it called again?
The thing was such a success, it has been decided that we will do this twice a year now. Look for more information about the meet in February in a few months!
Ok, so here are a ridiculous amount of photos for your viewing pleasure.....78 to be exact...the most I've ever put on this blog before.
Look for one hell of a video from the event in a few weeks....that will take some time thanks to Eric rolling film ALL day.

I agree with you about the best one but there are dozens of great images here. Great subjects too, especially the girl -- lying down in mud in a white/silver dress, that's the sort of model I want to work with!
Heck, that sure looked like a boatload of fun to me! And some seriously awesome umposed shots too!
