Mad Max Monday

This weeks installment of Mad Max Monday marks the 150th post on this blog. It's been quite a trip, and I sincerely appreciate all of you guys who are always visiting!

Max is growing like frikking crazy! I am positive that he is going to be over 6 ft tall! All he wants to do lately is stand up...and he's only 6 weeks old! He looks around like crazy, and is always still smiling!

On the real, raising a kid is harder than I ever thought. By nature, I'm sort of a selfish person, and selfish with my time. It's quite the change to go from that, to paying 100% attention to him when I'm watching him. Man I can't do anything! So...I figured...I'll just take lots of pictures!

I don't really do studio shots, but wanted to get some semi-studio type stuff. I propped up the 4x6 reflector as the background, and set up a 42" Photoflex Diffuser with the flash behind it. Needless to say, this was his reaction to the huge white thing!

Yup, still amazed by the big white thing.

Little to dark on the left side, brought in another flash.

See what I mean about wanting to stand all the time?!

He ALWAY stares very intently at the camera.

Interesting perspective, had to grab it.

Yesterday morning Max and I had a little, father/son time.

This is my most favorite photo EVER of him! So grown up, yet still so small!

Say what?

Hammin it up for the camera again!

Brandi says to me, "you know...Max might want to know that he was raised by his parents." I'm like, "what...oh yeah...all the photos so far and they are only Max!"

Some for the family!

So, when we came home this evening, somebody had planted these flowers beneath the mailbox! So nice! We've got some ideas on who did it, but we're still relatively clueless! Thanks though!
